What is an adaptation training program for nursing staff?

The adaptation training program for nursing professionals is a practical and theoretical qualification program for international nursing professionals whose professional qualifications obtained abroad have not yet been fully recognized in Germany. If, as part of the recognition process, significant differences are identified between your training and German nursing training, the competent authority may require you to complete an adaptation training program as a compensatory measure.

During the adaptation program, you will acquire the specific professional skills required for the recognition of your foreign nursing degree. The program covers both theoretical content and practical skills tailored to the current requirements of the German healthcare system.
